MEDIA, PA – MAY 26, 2006 – La Belle Epoque Café, a relative newcomer to the Media, PA, restaurant scene, was awarded "Best French Restaurant" by Main Line Today in their upcoming July 2006 edition.
Under the leadership of owner and executive chef, Loic Barnieu, the authentic French restaurant has earned the critics’ choice award for its high standards, quality, and excellence.
The award marks the third time La Belle Epoque Cafe has garnered recognition from Main Line Today. The restaurant has also earned two “Best Restaurant in Media” awards from the prestigious regional publication. Just two years ago, Philadelphia Magazine named La Belle Epoque Café one of the top suburban restaurants. "We are extremely pleased that we have been recognized by such established publications," says Barnieu.
The French-born chef is also a trained actor and has even been involved in the Philadelphia area theatre scene. But Barnieu says his real passion is good food. He takes his dedication to quality food seriously, serving a variety of savory authentic dishes and excellent wines. In fact, La Belle Epoque Café boasts one of the most impressive wine lists in the entire area.
"Our priority is to deliver the best restaurant experience to our customers," he says. "It’s something that we pride ourselves on and something that customers recognize and appreciate."
